What is 'long-range' shooting?

Campbell Town range has firing points from 500 yards to 1500 yards. We shoot all distances but mainly concentrate on 1000 yards and over. Why? Because the challenge of shooting well and coping with the effects of wind at these distances add to the enjoyment of target shooting We welcome new and experienced shooters and can teach the skills needed to excel in this sport.

We follow the shooting rules and safety guidelines (SSRs) set down by the National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA). The club holds regular informal practices and members compete at local, national and international competitions.
